Valanzola and Lee Team Up And Canvas 4,000 Voters

State Senate Candidate in the Worcester, Hampden, Hampshire, Middlesex District Mike Valanzola and Candidate for State Representative in the 2nd Franklin District Susannah Whipps Lee have joined forces to endorse each other and campaign together.  In an unprecedented first day, the two campaign teams joined forces and canvassed 4,000 likely primary voters in the towns of Orange, Athol, Templeton, Phillipston and Petersham. With the help of over 30 supporters the five towns were covered in the two day event.

"We have such similar backgrounds. We are kids born and bred in the district, coming from blue collar roots and building our individual success in the private sector." said Whipps Lee.

"I learned the value of hard work by sitting with my Dad in the cab of his tractor trailer truck. I learned the value of a dollar and the sacrifices that parents make for their kids." replied Valanzola, "Susie and I have talked over time and she had the same experience with her father and mother who built a thriving business from the ground up."

"We also have shared a deep commitment to our communities and our region. I was personally impressed that Mike had started his service to his community while still in high school." continued Whipps Lee, "We have a similar work ethic, and are going to join forces to win resounding victories in the 4 towns we share, and I have confidence we will each prevail in all of our communities." Both Whipps Lee and Valanzola are the only candidates in each of their races that have served their communities as members of their respective Boards of Selectmen.

Valanzola concluded, "I can't think of a better legislative team than Susie and me. We understand jobs and the economy, because we have grown up in working families and have gone on to employ local people. Each of us alone and both of us together exemplify this great region we hope to represent."
